Cowboy Sushi Cafe

Cowboy Sushi Cafe is a sushi bar.
This Western-themed sushi spot features items named after famous cowboys—including Roy Rogers, Jessie James and Doc Holliday—and western shows or movies, like "True Grit," "Tombstone" and "Blazing Saddles." Try the Annie Oakley roll with spicy tuna, avocado and cucumber, topped with blackened tuna, strawberries, avocado, raspberry habanero coulis, sweet chili and spicy mayo.
If you are in the mood for more familiar sushi eats, you'll still find classic sushi options like the California roll, tempura shrimp and dragon roll. (Find the entire menu here.)
So far, it's been well-received: it's got a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.
Matt and Jennifer B., who reviewed it on Jan. 12, wrote, "Menu is very original. There is something for everyone, even if you aren't a hardcore sushi eater. Food was phenomenal! The Annie Oakley was one of the best rolls I've ever eaten. Service was outstanding; from the door to the table. Drinks were delicious."
And Yelper David L. wrote, "Friendly service. Quick food prep. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Would recommend and would come again."
The sushi spot is open from 4–10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, and from 4 p.m.–midnight Thursday-Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
Emy'z Tru-Tex-Mex

Emy'z Tru-Tex-Mex is a new Tex-Mex and Mexican spot.
This restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. On the menu, expect tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, soups and salads. For diners stopping by before 11 a.m., the breakfast menu offers Nick's steak and eggs, served with carne asada, beans and crispy potatoes, or one of 15 varieties of breakfast tacos. The new addition has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
Angel S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 30, wrote, "Now that is a breakfast taco! The tacos here are amazing and filling! They do it right! Homemade tortillas filled full! We also had menudo [and] to die for tres leches French toast."
And Mary S. wrote, "Had the beef puffy tacos and was not disappointed. The shells were nice and airy, not dripping in grease. Hubby has the cheese enchiladas and said they were good. Friendly staff."

BurgerIM is a spot to score burgers and more.
The burger spot offers small three ounce patties, which are served on burgers that come in twos or threes. You can build each burger to your liking, with meats that include dry aged beef, chicken, chorizo, salmon and more. Finish your burgers off with sauces and toppings, such as chipotle mayo, garlic aioli, barbecue sauce, grilled onions, avocado or a sunny side up egg. Sides include fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. (See the menu here.)
It's off to an uneven start so far with only one review on Yelp, but it's still early days for the new spot.
