1. Red Circle Ice Cream
Topping the list is Red Circle Ice Cream. Located at 6838 Ranchester Drive in Sharpstown, the spot to score desserts, ice cream and waffles is the highest rated waffle spot in Houston, boasting 4.5 stars out of 377 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Odilia D., who reviewed it on Jan. 5, wrote, "It was yummy. The waffle is perfectly crispy and light. Coffee ice cream with a waffle is definitely a good combination."
2. Doux Cafe
Next up is Memorial's Doux Cafe, situated at 865 Dairy Ashford Road. With 4.5 stars out of 244 reviews on Yelp, the creperie and cafe, which offers waffles and more, has proven to be a local favorite.
Shawn R. said, "Great little cafe with an excellent menu and attention to detail in the food and service. Try the crepes or waffles and you won't go wrong!"
3. Sleek Chocolatier
Sleek Chocolatier, a chocolatier and creperie that offers waffles and more in Greater Uptown, is another go-to, with four stars out of 289 Yelp reviews. Head over to 5868 Westheimer Road, Unit B, to see for yourself.
Urooj F. wrote, "I went for the waffle instead of the crepe, and I had milk and white chocolate with strawberries and topped it off with a scoop of cheesecake gelato. The total came out to be around $10. They do not hold back! They really hook you up with the chocolate and the fruit!"

Over in Chinatown, check out Bubble Egg, which has earned four stars out of 257 reviews on Yelp. You can find the spot to score bubble tea, waffles and ice cream at 9188 Bellaire Blvd., Suite B.
Yelper Huyen D., who reviewed it on Jan. 4, wrote, "I would leggo my eggos any day for these Hong Kong-style egg waffles. There are so many great dessert options in Chinatown, but this is probably one of my favorites. You can create your own work of art with the fully customizable menu."
