A new Greek spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Amylos Taverna, the fresh arrival is located at 33-19 Broadway in Astoria.

On the menu, you'll find a variety of Greek dishes, leaning more towards seafood, like octopus and red snapper. But braised lamb shank and chicken are also available. For dessert, try the cheesecake baklava.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression.

And Savas P. wrote, "I went to Amylos Taverna tonight for dinner. I must say, the food was incredible. We got the whole red snapper, one branzino and one tsipoura. They were cooked perfectly."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Amylos Taverna is open from 5 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
