A new playground has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 7497 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., the new addition is called Totsville Indoor Playground.
The playground has an indoor sandbox that’s 20 feet by 20 feet and filled with silica-free sand that’s made of feldspar, which has been approved safe with a Children’s Product certificate.
The playground also features a ball pit, slides, swings and private rooms for parties. All day play is available Monday through Thursday, and there’s a two-hour limit on Friday through Sunday.
With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has gotten a good response.
Yuri S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 6, wrote, "This is the perfect place for kids under 10 years old. They have the only sandbox in Maryland. And the staff is very friendly. There are two beautiful party rooms to choose from. This place is so clean."
And Anne R. wrote, "New indoor playground for the kiddos! If you've been to HyperKidz in Columbia, this place had a similar feel except on a smaller scale. They are still on the new side, so all their equipment is new and clean. They even have an indoor sandbox, which is cool. "
