Looking to chow down on some traditional American fare? A new outlet for a Louisiana-based chain of sports bars has you covered. The fresh arrival to Irving, called Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar, is located at 3165 Regent Blvd.
The chain is known for its Cajun seafood and traditional pub fare. Don't skip the starters, especially options like the boom boom shrimp or fried Louisiana alligator.
For the main course, the 12-ounce Cajun ribeye steak topped with crawfish mushroom sauce, served with stuffed potatoes, vegetables and garlic bread is a popular turf choice, while the sweet chili salmon stands out in the surf selections.

"Everything that came out of the kitchen was not only bursting with flavor but was also almost too pretty to eat," enthused Carmela D., who recommended the boom boom shrimp, Boudin balls and bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits.
