A new wine bar and store has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at The Upton apartments, 42 Maryland Ave., in Town Center, the fresh addition is called Pour Vino n’ Hops.
Its rotating menu includes both wine and beer, from well-known and local favorites to hard-to-find regions and blends. It offers a food menu of cheese and charcuterie, plus olives and nuts. Patrons can open whatever they buy without a corkage fee, and can bring in outside food, as well.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Jessica C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 8, wrote, "Fun new spot. Great place to pick up wine and beer, but there's also a small, intimate bar area where they serve select beers and wine."
And Paresma P. wrote, "The shop had a great selection of beer and wine. They offered us tastings and had fair prices. I look forward to enjoying a happy hour here sometime soon."
