A new sushi bar, offering poke and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. The new arrival to downtown, called Poke Fresh, is located at 507 Dallas St.

The restaurant offers sushi burritos, signature poke bowls and build-your-own poke bowls. Try the Mayan Dragon burrito with eel, cucumber, mango and avocado, or the Seafood Harvest bowl with shrimp, scallops, cucumber, teriyaki sauce and more.

The newcomer has made a good impression thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Benjamin C., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Jan. 3, wrote, "If you're looking for an affordable healthy meal to replace the fast food options downtown, this is the place to go. Large restaurant space, great variety of drinks and so tasty. Great boba drinks too. "

And Arwa K. wrote, "Great new poke place next to work. The build-your-own poke bowl was delicious, and all the free add-ons help make the taste perfect. I highly recommend the Poke Special and Citrus Ponzu sauces."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Poke Fresh is open from 8 a.m.–7:30 p.m. weekdays and Sunday. (It's closed on Saturday.)
