In search of a new favorite barre studio?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top barre class spots around Charlotte, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're in the market for barre classes.

1. First Wind Cycling & Fitness

Topping the list is First Wind Cycling & Fitness. Located at 1930 Camden Road, Suite 120, in Wilmore, the gym, barre class and cycling class spot is the highest rated barre class spot in Charlotte, boasting five stars out of 28 reviews on Yelp.

Julianne W. said, "I love, love, love First Wind Cycling and everyone that works there! Karen has fostered such a welcoming environment that enables newbies like me to join a spinning or barre class without being intimidated and without getting bored!"

2. AIR Aerial Fitness

Next up is Eastover's AIR Aerial Fitness, situated at 1043-C Providence Road. With five stars out of 27 reviews on Yelp, the barre class, yoga and aerial fitness spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Alexis G. said, "I tried almost every class and almost every instructor. AIR offers barre classes, more yoga based classes and core-intensive classes, but you'll leave almost every class having worked your core, arms and legs."

3. Carolina Barre and Core

Freedom Park's Carolina Barre and Core, located at 4201-A Park Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the barre class spot five stars out of 24 reviews.

Yelper Amanda S. wrote, "Carolina Barre & Core has been the best barre studio I have been to in Charlotte. Every instructor I have had has been great! They are always encouraging and motivating. I am pretty new to barre in general, but this studio is so welcoming to everyone."

4. Flywheel Sports
