Southeast Dallas gets a new art gallery: Rainbow VomitPhoto: Rainbow Vomit/Yelp

A new art gallery has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Rainbow Vomit, the new addition is located at 3609 Parry Ave. in Southeast Dallas.

The interactive art exhibit, according to its website, immerses visitors of all ages in art, light and sound with over 6,000 LEDs, 100 pounds of cotton, 50 pounds of glitter and five miles of ribbon. Oh, and there's also a secret unicorn. Taking photos of the artwork is encouraged and it will take about an hour to experience the entire exhibit.

With a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Stephen H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 21, wrote, "This was a fun and interactive gallery. I would recommend Rainbow Vomit for anyone looking to mix up the weekday or weekend. It's creative, interactive and fun for all ages. Don't miss the hidden room and don't forget your camera."

Yelper Rosa P. added, “This is a cute pop-up interactive art show. I loved all the colors and the concept. The lighting, the colors and the props were all very creative and cute. I will say pay attention to the introduction. There's something you need to find and, without finding this, I feel like the art show does not feel complete. I cannot go into detail without spoiling the show.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Rainbow Vomit is open from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Wednesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
