A new spot to score ice cream, frozen yogurt and more has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Sweet Charlie's, the new addition is located at 1125 W. NC Highway 54, Suite #204.
Sweet Charlie's is a national chain that's spreading across the country. Customers can enjoy rolled ice cream that mixes in a wide variety of flavors — like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Mint Oreo and strawberry cheesecake. Selections can be served in a cup or glazed doughnut and topped with a slew of treats. This spot also offers a vegan alternative in addition to its traditional ice cream and frozen yogurt options.
Sweet Charlie's has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Skeets B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 12, wrote, "My wife and I tried the rolled ice cream and it was delicious. It was a very creative way to serve ice cream. We will go back often! The service was great, too."
Yelper Lisa H. added, “Amazing, this place is top notch! If you haven't tried it yet, please stop by and check it out. The staff is very friendly staff and serves up great treats. Sweet Charlie's has something for every palate.”
