Looking to satisfy your appetite for Turkish fare?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Turkish spots around Los Angeles, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fulfill your urges.

1. SpireWorks

Topping the list is SpireWorks. Located at 4945 Eagle Rock Blvd., Suite B, in Eagle Rock, the Turkish spot, which offers sandwiches, coffee, tea and more, is the highest rated Turkish restaurant in Los Angeles, boasting 4.5 stars out of 232 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Kristin M. said, "This place serves delicious food with a great atmosphere. I always get their Istanbul Chicken with salad or as a sandwich, but they have a ton of other tasty doner options. You can also build your own, as they have lots of yummy toppings."

2. The Kitchen at Westwood

Next up is Westwood's The Kitchen at Westwood, situated at 1510 Westwood Blvd. With 4.5 stars out of 216 reviews on Yelp, the Mediterranean, Turkish and halal spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Nick H. wrote, "I'm so glad I tried this place out on a whim. The food here tastes authentic and, though I always get either the chicken or beef kebab special, I never tire of these two dishes."

3. Nick's Kitchen

Reseda's Nick's Kitchen, located at 6736 Corbin Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Turkish, Armenian and Lebanese spot 4.5 stars out of 160 reviews.

Kay C., who reviewed it on Dec. 5, said, "Brilliant Turkish cuisine. Never since my days in London and New York have I had such great Turkish food. I ate the eggplant (creamy and smokey), iskender kebab and their knafe for dessert."

4. BERLINS

BERLINS, a German, Turkish and Mediterranean spot in Venice, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 118 Yelp reviews. Head over to 1425 Ocean Front Walk to see for yourself.

Sandra C., who reviewed it on Dec. 20, wrote, "At first I was skeptical that this place would be good because I had never heard of a German Mediterranean restaurant. Apparently it's a very popular concept in Germany. I went there for lunch and got the beef and lamb salad without feta cheese, and I have to say it was excellent."

5. Shish Mediterranean

Finally, over in Studio City, check out Shish Mediterranean, which has earned four stars out of 368 reviews on Yelp. You can find the Mediterranean, halal and Turkish spot at 11052 Ventura Blvd.

Yelper Shave V. wrote, "Best Turkish food in town. My family and I come here often. It's family owned and all food is organic. In my opinion, a gem in Studio City. Definitely check it out."
