A new spot for a cut and a shave has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Yellowbelly's Barber Shop, the newcomer is located at 2014 28th St. in Newton Booth and features a unique environment complete with traditional haircuts, hot towel shaves, and a complimentary libation (for customers 21 and over.)
With a five-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Eric W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 30, wrote, "You walk in, are immediately greeted and offered a beer while you wait. Then you get a great cut for a good price. Both the guys do an amazing job cutting hair and are very personable."
"The decor is amazing and as always their customer service awesome!" added Yelper Pedro P. "This is the only place to get a haircut, because they give you what you want and give you good advice on how to style your hair. True expert barbers."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Yellowbelly's Barber Shop is open from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
