'Black & Beautiful Ballet'

Dancers from the Carolina Ballet Theatre will perform artistic director Hernan Justo’s "Black & Beautiful: A Tribute to African American Dancers" in honor of Black History Month. The event will recognize the contributions made by African-American dancers and choreographers and include appearances from downtown singer Nathan Rosemond and entertainer JDew. 

When: Tuesday, Feb. 12, 7–9:30 p.m.

Volunteer for TobyMac's 'Hits Deep' tour  

Christian hip-hop artist TobyMac is coming to town for his "Hits Deep" tour and volunteers are needed to assist with the event. Volunteers will not receive tickets to the concert, but the organizer says an effort will be made to allow volunteers to see a portion of the show. 

When: Friday, Feb. 15, 5–10:30 p.m.
Where: Bon Secours Wellness Arena, 650 N. Academy St.

'Humongous'  

Need a laugh? This night of comedy will feature improv, stand-up and sketch comedy. Comedians and teams from Alchemy Comedy Theater will perform.
