ACA Nationals/DII Nationals
Next, the top youth cheerleading squads in the country will compete at the American Cheerleaders Association Nationals/DII Nationals this weekend at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Watch as teams perform choreographed routines and synchronated dance moves to try to win a championship.

Young Women Run North Texas
Then, to encourage and inspire women to run for political office, IGNITE National is holding the "Young Women Run North Texas" conference on Saturday at the Tarrant County College - Trinity River Campus. Elected leaders, from school board members to city council women to mayors, will give keynote addresses, while various skill-building workshops and other discussions will be held throughout the event. IGNITE National is a non-profit and nonpartisan organization that "builds political ambition in young women via political and civic education," according to its Twitter handle.

"Making Tracks - Fort Worth's Railroad History"
Take a walk, literally, through history as Fort Worth Texas Real Estate hosts a free walking tour to highlight the Forth Worth's Railroad History on Saturday morning. The two-to-three mile walking tour will traverse downtown with stops along the way to focus on the T&P Train Station and the impact of the railroad on the city.

Parent's Prom: Back to the Future
Lastly, it's your chance to travel in time to the 1980s as the Daggett Montessori School Dragon Dads are holding the first Parent's Prom - Back to the Future on Saturday at the Women's Club. Participants are encouraged to dress in 80s or 50s attire, and the event will include karaoke, which costs $5 per song, dancing, refreshments and drinks.
Proceeds will go toward improving the exterior of the campus and purchasing a school mascot costume. Babysitting services are available at The Fire Station Community Center.
