First, Unleash! is being held on Saturday at Great Faith Ministries. The free event will include live entertainment and motivational presentations and speeches. It will be co-hosted by Great Faith Youth Minister Kerry Lampkin and Greenleaf's Desiree Ross, and special guests.

Next, Deon Jamar will keep the dance floor filled as the Garden Theater hosts "A Groove" on Saturday. The Detroit DJ is best known for his underground sounds and upbeat music.

Kaki King + Strings

Then, composer and guitarist Kaki King is performing a concert with a Detroit Symphony Orchestra string ensemble on Tuesday at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The Interlochen Arts Academy singer-songwriter students will open the night.

Miguel Zenón & Spektral Quartet

Miguel Zenon and the Spektral Quartet, recently nominated for a Grammy Award, are performing "Yo Soy la Tradicion" on Wednesday also at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The work "pairs lush, melodic string writing with complex rhythmic interactions, blurring the lines between jazz, classical, and folk music," according to the promoter of the event.

Shigeto

Lastly, electronic musician, producer and drummer Shigeto is performing on Friday as well at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The publication Pitchfork describes his music as "searing emotion ... cross-wired of a host of different musical influences."
