A new coffee roastery has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 6423 Elvas Ave. in CSUS, the new addition is called The Mill. It began as a coffee stand in 2013 and became a cafe in 2017. This new opening marks the company’s second cafe location.
Stop by for any coffee drink such as an iced mocha or cup of cappuccino. Bouquet Coffee Roasters’ coffee is also on sale at the cafe. Pick blends like the Ethiopia Guji Grade 1, which features a sweetness from juicy stone fruit and ripe blackberry, or the Guatemala Piedra Partida Decaf, among others.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, The Mill has already made a good impression.
Rene L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 24, wrote, "The coffee is thankfully not as bitter and rough as other roasters around town, and it is one I could drink continuously. Its smooth, rich taste wraps you in a coffee blanket on these cold winter mornings.”
And Victoria H. added, “I absolutely love this third-wave coffee shop. This is easily five stars. They make their very own vanilla bean syrup; therefore, I ordered the vanilla bean latte. It was so delicious! It is one of the best lattes I've had."
