We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to analyze which eateries have been getting a notable increase in attention this month.
To find out who made the list, we looked at Sacramento businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increase their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.

Open since Nov. 2018, this Thai restaurant and bar, which offers hand-crafted cocktails and more, is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Bars" on Yelp.
Citywide, bars saw new reviews increase by a median of 1.7 percent over the past month, but THAI — The House Of Authentic Ingredients saw a 27.3 percent increase, maintaining a superior four-star rating throughout.
Located at 4701 H St. in East Sacramento, THAI — The House Of Authentic Ingredients offers a full bar and happy hour menu complete with draft beer, wine and specialty cocktails like the spicy tamarind margarita.
BurgerIM
Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Creekside's BurgerIM, the traditional American spot, which offers burgers and sandwiches, is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.
While businesses categorized as "American (Traditional)" on Yelp increased their review count by a median of 1.4 percent over the past month, BurgerIM bagged a 9.3 percent increase in new reviews within that timeframe, maintaining a mixed 3.5-star rating. It significantly outperformed the previous month by gaining 3.3 times more reviews than expected based on its past performance.
There's more that's trending on Sacramento's traditional American scene: Claim Jumper Restaurants has seen a 3.8 percent increase in reviews.
