If cheesesteaks are what you're after, look no further than this new business. Called Lee's Hoagie House, the newcomer is located at 246 S. 11th St. in Washington Square.
With 19 locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, this hoagie brand has been serving the community for more than 60 years, according to its website. On the menu, expect to find a wide selection of cheesesteaks, hot wraps and sandwiches, wings, salads and more.
With a four star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Jodi H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 2, wrote, "My favorite is the Italian hoagie, but I also love its huge salads. I love that they have gluten-free and vegan options."
And Jackie C. wrote, "Lee's in Center City is a great spot for lunch. Its cheesesteaks are one of the best in the city. Fast and friendly service, too."
