
The unsung heroes of the breakfast world, bagels don't always get the attention they deserve. But Feb. 9, National Bagel Day, is their moment in the sun (and the toaster).
They’re not just a convenient bite for commuters in a rush. Served as part of a sandwich or pizza, bagels can easily carry lunch or dinner. National Bagel Day is a chance to broaden your horizons at one of Seattle’s bagel bakeries.
Hoodline crunched the numbers, using both Yelp data and our own methodology to produce a ranked list of the top bagel shops around.
1. Kaladi Brothers Coffee

Topping the list is Kaladi Brothers Coffee. Located at 517 E. Pike St. (between Summit and Belmont avenues) in First Hill, the bakery, which offers coffee, tea, bagels and more, is the highest rated bagel spot in Seattle, boasting 4.5 stars out of 259 reviews on Yelp.
2. Java Jahn

Next up is Ballard's Java Jahn, situated at 1428 N.W. Leary Way (between North 15th and North 14th avenues). With 4.5 stars out of 63 reviews on Yelp, the spot to score coffee, tea, bagels and sandwiches has proven to be a local favorite.
3. Seattle Bagel Bakery

Last but not least, over in Pike Market, check out Seattle Bagel Bakery, which has earned four stars out of 103 reviews on Yelp. You can find the bakery and breakfast and brunch spot, which offers bagels and more, at 93 Pike St., Suite 4 (between Post Alley and First Avenue).
