2019 NCVA President's Day Recruiting Combine

Think you've got what it takes to play women's volleyball at the college level? The Northern California Volleyball Association is hosting its President's Day Recruiting Combine this Saturday at the San Jose Convention Center. 

The combine is open to any high school-age female player looking to showcase their skills with college coaches in attendance. All players and drills will be filmed.

Footage will be sent to NCAA Division I college programs across the U.S., as well as to all volleyball programs in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona. Participants are encouraged to wear normal volleyball practice attire. Parents are not allowed in the gym during the combine. 

When: Friday, February 15, 8-9:30 p.m.

Vancouver Canucks vs. San Jose Sharks

Join The Digital Moose Lounge — a local group composed of a "community of Canadians in the San Francisco Bay Area" — to cheer on the Vancouver Canucks as they take on hometown favorites, the San Jose Sharks. 

The group will meet in the "Veranda" area of the Shark Tank before and during the game "to mix and mingle with the group," write the organizers. Your ticket includes access to balcony viewing, dinner and two drink tickets that can be used at a private bar.

Yoga + Beer + Music | Valentine's Day Aftermath

Finally, wind down from the Valentine's Day weekend and get ready to tackle Monday with yoga, local brews and music at Hapa's Brewing Company this Sunday. 

The 60-minute all levels yoga flow features upbeat music and craft beers served before, during and after class. Must be 21 and over.
