Field Work Presentations For the 25th Class of Emerson Hunger Fellows

On Thursday, the 25th Class of Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows will present the results of their work fighting hunger since August 2018. Presentations will focus on rural hunger, college hunger and poverty and hunger in indigenous and immigrant communities.

Heavenly Hundred Commemoration - Charitable Concert

On Friday, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States and non-profit organization United Help Ukraine invite you to the fifth annual commemoration ceremony dedicated to the Heavenly Hundred. The group gave their lives during Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity from 2013-2014. The event features a performance by pianist Pavel Gintov. Proceeds will benefit wounded Ukrainian soldiers.

2019 Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium

Finally, the Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium hosts "Coming Up: Innovation, Evolution and Progress in the Arts" at the Katzen Arts Center. The event features panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities with arts leaders from DC and beyond. A reception follows that evening.
