School bus driver spots body near Fowler. Sheriff’s office investigating as homicide

Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene of an apparent homicide near Fowler on Tuesday morning.

The body of the victim, possibly a Hispanic male in his 20s, was spotted by a Fowler School District driver about 7:30 a.m. on a narrow roadway at Claremont and Springfield avenues, according to sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti.

A man was arrested Tuesday after the Fresno Police Department said he vandalized multiple police cars.

Around 9 a.m., a witness reported seeing a man attacking several police cars in the parking lot of the Southeast Police District station at Cedar and Heaton avenues.

Anglican Priest in Fresno Charged With Sexual Battery After Allegedly Rubbing ‘Sacred Oil’ on Men’s Genitals

Authorities in Fresno say an Anglican Church priest was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing at least 18 parishioners during his tenure at a local church.

KFSN-TV reported Jesus Antonio Castaneda Serna was arrested Sunday. He posted bail Monday.
