Art Battle New York at (Le) Poisson Rouge

First, it's paint-brush-as-weapon this Wednesday at LPR. Art Battle International is a live painting competition in which 12 artists compete in timed rounds to create the images that will earn them, via votes from the audience, a bid to move on to the city-wide championships.

Comedy Without Borders: A night in support of the NYIC
Next, it's comedy for a cause this Thursday at Caveat. A long list of top area comics — including recent immigrants and funny people with something to say about the timely topic — will entertain you with one hand, while the other reaches around for your wallet in support of the New York Immigration Coalition.

Ailey II Dance Company

Rhymes With Opera's annual Opera Potluck Salon
