Epistrophy Arts presents Fire!

First, the trio of saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, bassist Johan Berthling and drummer Andreas Werlin bring the sound of their group, Fire!, to The North Door on Saturday. It plays improvised music and draw on influences from free jazz, psychedlic rock and noise, and BBC Music called their performance, "A white-knuckle ride from start to finish."

The Music of Talking Heads for Kids @ Mohawk

Lastly, the Mohawk is hosting the next series of the Rock and Roll Playhouse with music from the Talking Heads for kids on Sunday. On top of dancing and rocking out to the group's hits, such as "Wild Wild Life," "Take Me to the River," "Burning Down the House" and more, there will be games, stories and more for kids.
