On Saturday, enjoy the Herb Pomeroy Memorial Concert at MIT. This annual concert honoring  MIT’s “Father of Jazz,” features trumpeter, bandleader and music educator Sean Jones, who joins the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble. The MIT Alumni Jazz Band will also be in the spotlight.

Storm Large

Finally, Friday night, catch Storm Large in concert at the Sanders Theatre at Harvard University. The musician, actress, playwright and author is a member of Pink Maritni, an eclectic band that performs everything from classical music to classic pop and jazz. She's appeared with George Clinton, the BBC Symphony and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestras and more.
