
Denver-based cloud computing company Cloud Elements has secured $25 million in Series C funding, according to company database Crunchbase, topping the city’s recent funding headlines. The cash infusion was announced Feb. 28 and led by Mercato Partners.
According to its Crunchbase profile, "Cloud Elements is an API integration platform for SaaS companies and enterprises. It enables clients to connect to the ecosystem of applications that their customers and partners rely on every day. Their Finance Hub, for example, provides a uniform API that connects clients with all of the leading accounting systems used by their customers and partners."
The seven-year-old company has raised five previous funding rounds, including a corporate round in 2018.
The round brings total funding raised by Denver companies in internet services over the past month to $31 million. The local internet services industry has seen 21 funding rounds over the past year, capturing a total of $111 million in venture funding.
In other local funding news, apps and advertising company Shotzr announced a $3 million seed funding round on March 18, led by Access Venture Partners.
According to Crunchbase, "Shotzr provides programmatic delivery of micro-targeted images based on location, interests and demographics."
The company also raised a $1.3 million seed round in 2017.
