
A single-vehicle crash involving serious injury was reported early Saturday on southbound I-25 near Denver’s W. 6th Avenue interchange. Police have not released the motorist’s identity, the cause of the crash, or any information about additional injuries.
According to a Denver Police Department alert, officers were investigating a crash involving a motorist traveling southbound on I-25 at W. 6th Avenue. The initial alert did not say whether lanes were closed or how long the investigation would continue.
The crash comes at a familiar trouble spot for Denver drivers. A separate collision near the same interchange in June killed one driver after a southbound vehicle struck a stalled vehicle, according to Hoodline’s earlier report.
