Unsure where Sacramento's insiders are eating and drinking? It's easy to spot lines out the door, but some underlying trends are harder to see.

We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to uncover which local businesses have been getting a notable uptick in attention this month.

To find out who made the list, we looked at Sacramento businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increase their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.

Read on to see which spots are extra hot, right now.

Open since December, this breakfast and brunch spot, which offers burgers and more, is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Breakfast & Brunch" on Yelp.

Citywide, breakfast and brunch spots saw new reviews increase by a median of 1.6 percent over the past month, but Butt3rmilk Cafe saw a 100 percent increase, with a slight downward trend from a 4.5-star rating a month ago to four stars today.

It's not the only trending outlier in the breakfast and brunch category: Wild Flour Cafe has seen a 4.9 percent increase in reviews.

Located at 6425 Florin Perkins Road in Morrison Creek, Butt3rmilk Cafe offers traditional American fare, including an egg-white scramble made of tomatoes, avocado, sauteed spinach and a side of multi-grain toast and a cup of fruit, alongside buttermilk pancakes, french toast and biscuits and gravy.
