A new spot to score cheesesteaks and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Haskell and Worth, the fresh addition is located at 7800 Windrose Ave.
Take a bite out of a Philadelphia cheesesteak, made on an Amoroso roll —just like they do it in the City of Brotherly Love — with either steak or chicken. Add cheese, fried onions, peppers, mushrooms and other toppings, as well as fries on the side.
With a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is getting solid feedback from clientele.
Helina G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 7, wrote, "Haskell & Worth is a new concept in Plano's Legacy Hall. And a welcome one at that. They specialize in custom cheesesteak sandwiches that are served on a hot Amoroso roll. From there, it's loaded with savory, tender premium all-natural ribeye steak or chicken. The toppings were well seasoned and the portions were gigantic."
Yelper Kortni R. added, “This Philly was really good. I asked them to really cook down my onions and they happily obliged. Totally customizable sandwich and made in less than five minutes. The cheese is underneath all the meaty deliciousness and gets extra gooey with the perfect bread they use.”
Head on over to check it out: Haskell and Worth is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on weekends.
