New Greek spot Non Stop Gyro debuts in PoweltonPhoto: Gloria E./Yelp

Hungry? A new neighborhood Greek spot has you covered. Called Non Stop Gyro, the fresh addition is located at 3632 Powelton Ave. in Powelton.

On the menu, look for starters like grilled feta cheese topped with veggies or its selection of spreads and dips. There's also gyro and pita sandwiches, platters and kebabs. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a Greek yogurt or baklava dessert.

Non Stop Gyro has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Gloria E., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 26, wrote, "I got the bifteki platter and tried the gyro platter. The bifteki is stuffed with cheese, but the best deal was the gyro. The meat was sliced thin, but piled high with mounds of spicy feta and tzatziki.

And Bee E. wrote, "Everything is made fresh. Don't leave without trying the desserts, especially the galaktoboureko, a custard pie with phyllo. The food here is quality, and reminds me of food I ate in Europe."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Non Stop Gyro is open from noon–midnight on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday.
