The Three Escapes of Hannah Arendt — Exhibition Opening
Join Alexandra Salomon, editor of WBEZ’s "Curious City," as she interviews cartoonist and author Ken Krimstein about his graphic biography, "The Three Escapes of Hannah Arendt." Recently named a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award, it explores Arendt's encounters with artists and thinkers of pre-WWII Europe.

Refuge Theatre Project Announces Production "Hands on a Hardbody"

If you get a kick out of reality TV shows, check out "Hands on a Hardbody." Based on S.R. Bindler documentary, it follows a group of Texans willing to test their mental and physical endurance while competing to win a pickup truck.

Lifeline Theatre KidSeries Presents "The Time Warp Trio"

Last but not least, take your kids to the world premiere of "The Time Warp Trio" this Saturday. Based on the children's series by Jon Scieszka, it follows the escapades of Joe and his friends. A book magically transports the group to the medieval world of King Arthur’s Camelot. Recommended for children ages five and up.
