International Engagement & Study Abroad Forum – FREE

Ever think about studying abroad? If so, consider the International Engagement & Study Abroad Forum on Friday at the Richland College Sabine Hall. The free event is a chance to learn about study abroad opportunities, speak with faculty, exhibitors and representatives, as well as hear from the Bureau of Consular Affairs and Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs.

1st Annual Dallas Black College Expo

Next, meet with representatives from, and learn about, historically black colleges or universities on Saturday at Paul Quinn College. Scholarships and admissions will be awarded on the spot. Stick around for the After Show, which will feature a Step Show, a dance-off and appearances by celebrities The Westbrooks (from BET), actor/comedian Kel Mitchell and prizes and giveaways.

2019 DFW Auto Show

Take a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck or Fiat for a test drive at the DFW Auto Show being held from Thursday through Sunday at the Kay Baily Hutchinson Convention Center. In addition to viewing the latest models from each car company, attendees can get behind the wheel to see how the vehicles handle and feel on the road.

Festival of Joy

Head down to Klyde Warren Park on Saturday as Kalachandji's and the Crow Museum of Asian Art hold the second annual Festival of Joy, which is an ancient Indian event and an afternoon of parades, music, dancing, free food, cultural and educational exhibits, crafts and face-painting for kids and much more.
