A new spot to score seafood and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new addition to CityCenterDC, called Estuary, is located at 950 New York Ave. NW.

"Top Chef" finalists and brothers Bryan and Michael Voltaggio have an elegant room to work with on the third floor of the Conrad Hotel. Walk into an open room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large circular bar and an open kitchen. That's where chefs are cooking up a seafood-centric menu that uses the fruits of the Chesapeake Bay in dishes like the crab roll with plantain chips and fluke in a buttermilk dressing. Lamb pastrami is an example of the non-seafood offerings, which also includes the rigatoni kale with celery root and an aged ribeye.

Desserts include a key lime pie and the Maryland layer cake called Smith Island, which has granola, chocolate and a strawberry sorbet.

Estuary has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Yelper G P. wrote, "The crab roll was a must. It's addictive and delicious. The dishes were playful, like the mozzarella ball disguised as a tomato. The salmon and lamb entrees were beautiful and hearty."

Estuary is now open at 950 New York Ave. NW., so head on over to check it out.
