New art gallery WonderWorld Space now open in HollywoodPhoto: WonderWorld Space/Yelp

A new art gallery has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called WonderWorld Space, the newcomer is located at 7080 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.

The interactive pop-up, which originated in New York City, is inspired by "Alice in Wonderland." It features five rooms that stimulate the senses as well as the imagination, including a balloon- and bubble-filled swimming pool, a mushroom garden and giant tea cups.

The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp.

Lauren L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 15, wrote, "The rooms are all well decorated, and each will present different ideas for photographs. The tea party room was my favorite because you can get so many different photos in it, from sitting or playing with the tea cups, getting inside the cute cheese triangles or just sitting on the floor with the beautiful, pastel background."

Yelper Nonoi R. added, “As a museum addict, this is one of the best pop-up museums I've ever been. All the rooms are so pretty! Just make sure your camera ready and enjoy the moment.”

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. WonderWorld Space is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Tuesday.)
