Pioneer Painter and HERITAGE Exhibit Opening Reception

On Friday, learn about two local Asian artists at this free event. The first is Rakhee Jain Desai, a Texas-based artist who works with vibrant colors, motifs and symbols in her art, which reflects her roots in India and a period living abroad in Asia. The second is R.C. Wong, a late art bloomer who didn't take art lessons until she was 42 years old and is well known for portraits of her own children.

Art City Austin Festival

Bring the family to Republic Square Park for the 69th annual Art City Austin Festival. With 80 participating visual artists, designers, artisans and makers, you can enjoy browsing through works on display or purchase one to spice up your home decor.
