The Arcadian Wild, a Nashville-based folk trio, will perform with special guest Jac Thompson at a house concert in Austin. Arcadian Wild consists of Sarah Wood on vocals and banjo, Lincoln Mick on mandolin, and Isaac Horn on guitar. Atash will be celebrating the life of mystic Sufi poet, Rumi, in a night full of poetry, songs and dance. The concert will feature Loaya Iris Quesada, Stacey Lizette's ensemble Teketek, and Amae Zing. This project is funded in part by the City of Austin through the Economic Development Department/Cultural Arts Division.

A cellist since the age of eight, pursued electronic music and contemporary composition in college. After graduation she moved to San Francisco and built a career as an information architect and data analyst while moonlighting as a cellist in rock bands. She is known for using technology to sample her cello onstage and for her DIY approach, releasing her music online without the help of a record label.
