Community Backyards Class 

From the event description:

Community Backyards is an educational class that offers one $50 reimbursement to eligible Franklin County residents on one of the following: rain barrel, compost bin or native plants or trees. Conservationists will teach improving water quality with rain barrels and rain gardens, why native plants are so important, how composting improves soil conditions and proper lawn-care techniques. Eligible residents who attend this class will receive a voucher with listed rebate-eligible items for their community.

Table Aid: St. John's Band Concert Benefitting The Largest Table

St. John's Band has some of Columbus' favorite musicians. The Largest Table feeds nearly 200 hungry and marginally-housed people every Wednesday. This Thursday, these two forces come together to have some fun and raise some money to keep feeding our neighbors. You'll hear loads of music with spiritual themes from artists like Prince, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Lady Gaga and more.
