Timberland Urban Greening Event at Green Living Science & Lincoln Street Art Park

From the event description:

Timberland’s Nature Needs Heroes is a movement to make a city greener, a community stronger and their products better. We are the earth-keepers and it’s up to us to be the heroes. A once-abandoned-lot, turned into an art park, will be the target of the project. There will be 60 volunteers working from the Sustainable Brands conference, taking place at Cobo center. Our hope is to expose individuals from around the United States to see the wonderful work being done in the city. The project will focus on creating green space to an art park, focused on the reuse of materials. Contributions made to this project will allow for more work to be done and more amazing projects to be completed.
