Beau, beagle and Labrador retriever mix
Beau is a male beagle and Labrador retriever mix being cared for at ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans).
ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans) wants to place Beau in a home without small children. He's already house-trained. He's already vaccinated and neutered.
From Beau's current caretaker:
Hi guys! It’s me, Beau! A snuggly little dude that’s up for anything. Couch surfing? I’m ready! Walkies? Oh boy! Nap time? Yes please! I’m the perfect dog to take on the go since I’m always up for anything. I came from a place with lots of other dogs, so I get along with them. I also don’t pay much attention to cats. I do prefer the company of older children and adults — because I'm a civilized and sophisticated man. Once I get some affection from you, I’ll be your best buddy forever.

Emeric, Westie and Yorkshire terrier mix
Emeric is a male Westie and Yorkshire terrier mix staying at Take Paws Rescue.
Emeric will get along great with cats and dogs. He has mastered his house-training etiquette. He already has all of his shots, and he's neutered.
From Emeric's current caretaker:
Emeric is two years old, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered. 15-17 pounds full grown. Docile and sweet. Likes to put his paws on your shoulders to lick your face. Potty trained, crate trained so far. Walks okay on leash. Quiet, doesn’t mind other dogs, but is nervous at first. He’s not sure what to make of cats, but he’s not aggressive at all. Doesn’t shed really. I think he’s a Westie/Yorkie mix. Could be wrong. Knows sit and come. Loves car rides and behaves well while riding. He loves be petted! And we just learned he loves to fetch!

Kyser, German shepherd
Kyser is a male German shepherd dog currently housed at Take Paws Rescue.
Kyser is eager to make friends — he'll get along great with your other dogs, cats and kids. He has all of his shots. Fear not: He's already house-trained.
Notes from Kyser's caretakers:
Kyser is just over a year old. He is a German Shepherd mix. Super sweet dog. Friendly with both people and dogs! He has been around cats and just tends to want to play, once he gets used to them being around he begins to mind his own business! His only drawback is that he has separation anxiety. He needs a home where someone is primarily around or a home where he has a companion dog. He’s also very smart and knows it stay and leave it. He loves riding in the car or really anything that he can be involved in. His owner unexpectedly went back to school and moved into an apartment by themselves and feels he is extremely unhappy, so they want to do what’s best for him.

Hoss, Labrador retriever
Hoss is a handsome male Labrador retriever dog being kept at Take Paws Rescue.
Hoss gets along well with other dogs. He already has all of his shots. He is already house-trained.
Here's what Hoss' friends at Take Paws Rescue think of him:
This is Hoss! He is a 2-year old lab mix, about 60 pounds, but underweight. He is neutered, and light heartworm positive (for which he is currently undergoing treatment and his fee covers). He's super loving and loves to be around people, rub up on your leg and cuddle you. We haven't tried him with any big dogs yet, but he's great with little ones! He hasn't been super playful with any of them yet, but he's totally fine with just hanging out in the yard.
