Unsure where Denver's in-the-know crowd is eating and drinking? It's easy to spot lines out the door, but some underlying trends are harder to see.
We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to discover which eateries have been seeing especially high review volumes this month.
To find out who made the list, we looked at Denver businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increase their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.
Read on to see which spots are on a hot streak, right now.
Broadway Market Denver

Open since February, this food court and bar is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Bars" on Yelp.
Citywide, bars saw a median 1.4 percent increase in new reviews over the past month, but Broadway Market Denver saw a 34 percent increase, with a slight upward trend from a three-star rating a month ago to 3.5 stars today.
Located at 950 N. Broadway in Capitol Hill, this food hall offers patrons a place to drink craft beer and cocktails while snacking on eats and treats from nine different vendors, including a pizzeria and a French bakery.
Tokyo Premium Bakery

Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Platt Park's Tokyo Premium Bakery, the bakery, which offers coffee, tea, sandwiches and more, is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.
While businesses categorized as "Sandwiches" on Yelp saw a median 2.5 percent increase in new reviews over the past month, Tokyo Premium Bakery bagged a 10.9 percent increase in new reviews within that time frame, maintaining an impressive five-star rating.
Open at 1540 S. Pearl St. since October 2018, Tokyo Premium Bakery offers sweet and savory baked goods, including treats with a Japanese twist, like matcha-dusted donuts.
