A new Korean spot, offering barbecue and more, has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Kkoki Korean BBQ, the new addition is located at 8001 S.E. Powell Blvd., Suite O in South Tabor.
Kkoki Korean BBQ offers customers the opportunity to grill their own meats tableside. On the menu, look for beef belly, rib eye steak, chicken bulgogi and more. Specialty dishes include jokbal (steamed pork feet marinated in a housemade sauce), tofu kimchi and mussel soup.
The barbecue spot, which opened in April, has three additional locations in Beaverton, Salem and Eugene.
The fresh arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Teresa N. wrote, “My first impression is their service was amazing. They had tons of servers, so I didn't need to do the grill myself. The staff took care of the table and did the grill entirely. I just needed to be there and enjoy the food.”
And Jen S. added, "They were very generous with their portions, they weren't stingy with their banchan (sides) and their service (particularly for a large, politely demanding group) was exceptionally attentive and friendly!"
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Kkoki Korean BBQ is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday.
