Last year, the restaurant won the Wine Spectator Grand Award, with the magazine praising the Metropolitan Grill's selection of Washington reds.

Angie G. wrote about her experience, saying, "For dinner, we both did the meat rodizio and had so much fun. The service was extremely fast and all of the meats were so good. It was some of the best filet mignon I've ever eaten. The Parmesan pork and basically every piece of steak they put in front of us were delicious."
