Avengers: Endgame

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.

With a Tomatometer Score of 95 percent and an Audience Score of 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, "Avengers: Endgame" has garnered plenty of praise since its release on April 26. The Observer's Oliver Jones said, "What you will be getting when you walk into an inevitably overstuffed movie theater is something singular that reflects our age in a way that none of the MCU films that preceded it have — indeed, very few Hollywood spectacles ever have."

Long Shot

Set to be released on Friday, May 3, "Long Shot" already has a Tomatometer Score of 89 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

"As it happens, 'Long Shot,' directed by Jonathan Levine from a script by Dan Sterling and Liz Hannah, is the most likable Hollywood romantic comedy I've seen in ages and, not coincidentally, the most ambitious," noted Justin Chang of the Los Angeles Times.

Breakthrough

When he was 14, John Smith drowned in Lake St. Louis and was dead for nearly an hour. According to reports at the time, CPR was performed 27 minutes to no avail. Then the youth's mother, Joyce Smith, entered the room, praying loudly. Suddenly, there was a pulse, and John came around.

With a Tomatometer Score of 65 percent and an Audience Score of 79 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, "Breakthrough" is well worth a watch. The Los Angeles Times' Katie Walsh said, "One of the more authentically moving entries in the genre, fueled by a gripping lead performance from 'This Is Us' star Chrissy Metz."
