Now in our third year, we're excited to celebrate the Pride by inviting the LGBTQ+ and same-gender-loving communities of South L.A., straight allies, family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to join in recognizing our gender and sexual diversity in our own community. Gather with us for performances and a dynamic conversation on cultural transmission with Los Angeles-based artists and cultural leaders from ACTA’s Apprenticeship and Living Cultures Programs, including Peter de Guzman and Jasmine Orpilla, Mary Alfaro, Wilfried Souly and Aaron Mason, Centro Cultural Techantit and the Ukrainian Arts Center. Fruitstitution Fundraising Dinner

Spend the evening with Fruitstitute and friends, surrounded by art, wine, fruit-centric bites and cocktails. Your attendance will help raise funds to build The Fruitstitution, an online public database of fruit tree information and cultivation practices. The site will be an encyclopedia filled with fruit tree history, recipes and traditional knowledge on fruit production from around the world in the form of podcasts, interviews and more. An art auction and raffle will take place throughout the event.
