Polished Nail Bar

Now open at 4151 Park Road is the Polished Nail Bar, a nail salon and waxing and skin care spot.

This spot has sister locations in Charlotte and Raleigh. The list of services here includes waxing, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. Microblading, which involves the tattooing of eyebrows, is also available. Take a gander at the full list of services here.

Yelper haley p. wrote, "The massage chairs are brand new and the service is impeccable. I'd ask for Paulina to do your manicure and pedicure because she is the best at what she does. Having mimosas during a pedicure is like the icing on the cake."

A new Italian, French and Spanish spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Bar Marcel, the newcomer is located at 3920 Sharon Road, Suite #160, in South Park.

To start, take a look at the Duck Liver Pate as an appetizer. This spot serves up a variety of pasta dishes including Tagliatelle, which includes shrimp, capers, kale and more. The Colorado Lamb Chops head the list of large plates on the menu. 

Bar Marcel has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Kate T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 29, wrote, "We started with the Raspberry Basil Gimlet and the Charcuterie Board. The board was absolutely divine with homemade duck pate, boudin, house-cured salami, three cheeses along with mustard, jam and pickles. It was a perfect start to the evening and very filling."

Cafe Fior

Now open at 14825 Ballantyne Village Way, Suite #135, in Ballantyne is Cafe Fior, a restaurant, offering coffee and tea and more.

This spot serves up chai, lattes and more. Try the Iced Rose Tea with Lemongrass or the Masala Chai. Cafe Fior serves breakfast and lunch daily. Look for the Tuna Melt among the lunch options.

With four stars from one review on Yelp, it's still early days for the new arrival.
