Dessert fans, take heed: A new Kilwins outpost has opened its doors at 662 N. High St. in the Short North.

Starting out in the resort town of Petoskey, Michigan, Kilwins now extends from Boulder, Colorado, to Key West, Florida, according to its website. It is known for its chocolates, fudge, ice cream and caramel apples coated with house-made caramel. This is the second central Ohio store, with the first one in Dublin.

The new locale has received mixed reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Precious B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 26, wrote, "I love this place! The Kilwins in Dublin recently opened in 2018 and I frequently visit that store so I'm so excited to have another in town, especially in the Short North!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Kilwins is open from noon–10 p.m. daily.
