A new Mediterranean spot, offering pizza and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Newbold, called Stina, is located at 1705 Snyder Ave.

Stina aims to provide "fresh, seasonal and affordable food," according to its website. On the menu, look for its falafel or Italian hoagie sandwiches, wood-fired pizza and Turkish dumplings.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Stina is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Jonathan M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 6, wrote, "Pizza showed up and was a masterpiece of flavors. The décor on the walls and the action in the kitchen made it so my attention was never lacking something to marvel at."

Yelper John D. added, “Welcome addition to the neighborhood with a nice variety of small plates and pizza. The octopus was on point. Cauliflower was tasty. The hummus was perfectly seasoned and the light and airy pita bread was to die for."

Head on over to check it out: Stina is open from noon–3 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and noon–3 p.m. and 5-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
