Nola, domestic shorthair
Nola is a charming female domestic shorthair cat being kept at Animal Aid Inc.
No other cats, please: Nola is looking for cat-free home. She's been vaccinated and spayed. Fear not: She is already house-trained.
Here's what Nola has to say about herself:
I’m a very active and affectionate young cat. I love to play and to be friendly to people. My nickname’s Beignet because I’m such a delightful treat. I don’t seem to be a big fan of other cats. I hiss at them, and they make me uncomfortable. I am looking for a home with lots of snuggles to give.

Meryl, Siamese mix
Meryl is a charming female Siamese mix being kept at Animal Aid Inc.
Meryl is looking for a family without other dogs or cats and would prefer a home without small children. She's already spayed, and she has all her shots. Good news: She is already house-trained.
About Meryl:
I’m a loving and gentle Seal Point Siamese kitty. Everyone who meets me has said that I’m just the sweetest and prettiest cat. I adore being loved on. I like to rub my face on your hands and ask you to pet my head. I love to kill string toys and drag them around. I'm looking for a calm, patient home. I’ve had some problems in my previous home with a bladder stone and stress from a baby that led me to have inappropriate urination. Currently, I’m on medication and prescription food to help with that condition. I'm healthy and using my litter box just fine.

Carol, domestic longhair
Carol is a female domestic longhair cat being kept at Animal Aid Inc.
Animal Aid Inc. thinks Carol will do best in a home without small children. She has all of her shots and is spayed and house-trained.
From Carol:
I’m a healthy and incredibly friendly lady with a beautiful coat. I’ve had a lot of change in my life recently as my beloved person passed away. I love lap time once I get to know you, and I have a great purr. I dislike loud noises and possibly other cats (they are still getting to know me here). I get spooked by little children. I am looking for a quiet home with someone to show me some TLC and help show me I’m safe.

Mary, domestic shorthair mix
Mary is a charming female domestic shorthair mix staying at Northwest Animal Companions.
Mary gets along well with other cats. Mary is already spayed and vaccinated. She has mastered her house-training etiquette.
Here's what Mary's friends at Northwest Animal Companions think of her:
I'm very social with three other cats in my foster home. I am about a year old, and I love playing with the other cats and my toys when I'm not snoozing in a sunny spot. I have come a long way from when I first arrived at my foster home. I chose to live under the bed, but now I sleep on the sofa and spend most of my time in the living areas. However, my new owner will need to have patience with me and give me the time to continue flowering at my own speed. It would be best for me to have another young cat in the household to show me by example that what I am experiencing is okay and is safe. I am a work in progress, but I am worth it.

Dahlia, domestic
Dahlia is a charming female domestic cat being cared for at Animal Aid Inc.
She is already house-trained. Dahlia is already spayed, and she has all her shots.
About Dahlia:
I’m a gorgeous, fluffy girl who takes great care of my pristine fur. My brother, Cedar, and I were abandoned cats down by the river. We are still learning to completely trust people, but we each love petting and human affection in our own ways. I like belly rubs. I love giving you gentle headbutts as you pet me. I take great comfort in sitting next to my brother. I dislike loud noises. I am looking for a quiet home that will be patient with my brother and me to help us blossom.

Dot, domestic shorthair
Dot is a sweet female domestic shorthair cat being cared for at Animal Aid Inc.
Dot is a social butterfly — she'll get along great with other cats. She is vaccinated and spayed. She's mastered her house-training etiquette.
From Dot:
I’m a shy gal. I came all the way from the mean streets of Los Angeles where I was living outside an apartment complex with a bunch of other cats. It was kind of a scary life in some ways, and someone threatened to poison me and my friends. I got a ride up here to Animal Aid, and I’m very thankful for my good meals and gentle care. It takes me a long time to trust people, and I’m just at the point of allowing people to touch me while I’m eating. I do love play time either with a human or on my own. For now, it’s not possible to pick me up or pet me unless I’m in my safe, covered bed. However, I adore other cats and seek them out for comfort if they will give it. So, I’m kind of a work in progress cat. Do you have time and a lot of patience to give me to help me feel safe? Do you have another cat who just needs a buddy and don’t care if it takes me months to a year to warm up to you?

Olive, domestic shorthair
Olive is a female domestic shorthair cat being kept at Animal Aid Inc.
Olive gets along well with other cats. Her ideal forever home would be a dog-free environment. Animal Aid Inc., however, recommends she be placed in a home without small children. Good news: She is already house-trained, spayed, and has all her shots.
Here's what Olive has to say:
I’m a sensitive, shy little black and white shorthaired cat. I’m quiet and very loving once I get to know you. I lived with a cat colony in Los Angeles outside an apartment building until the property manager threatened to poison me and my friends. We got lucky when someone gave us a ride up here to Portland. I’m a petite cat and love to cuddle up to your hands when I feel safe. I am pretty shy though, so I don’t want a home with children or dogs. I do like other cats. If you are a cat whisperer, I would love to show you how much love I have to give.
