Latte has not had an easy life so far and is looking for a forever home with people that she can trust. She would prefer to be in a home where she isn’t left alone for too long of a period by herself. She would also prefer to have a mellow dog as a companion or to be the only dog in the home. She would also do best in a home without young children but would do well with teenagers who could understand that she needs her space sometimes.

Sasha (aka Sasha-bear) is nine years old, but don’t let that number fool you. She is an energetic girl with tons of skills. Although she might be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly, especially with a treat or two. Sasha knows many commands, including sit, down, shake (or paw) and has been working on target touching. She is incredibly smart and is very food-motivated, so there is no doubt that she will learn many new tricks. She LOVES walks and is working on leash manners. Sasha has impeccable manners and will wait to eat her food until she is given the command, “OK.” She rarely jumps up and will never counter surf or eat your favorite pair of sneakers. She enjoys talking and will vocalize and chatter her teeth when she’s excited, but she doesn’t bark often. Sasha would do best in a home with older children and as either the only dog or with a larger canine sibling.

She has been exposed to children and does well with young and old, but, because she is so full of puppy energy, she will easily knock them over if not paying attention. Sox loves to go for long walks and playing fetch with her squeaky ball, and she enjoys a good swim once in a while. Even with all this energy, Sox loves to snuggle and is very happy when she is up on the couch with her people, snoring away. She is super smart, very treat-motivated, and looks to her person for direction with great eye contact. She will continue to need plenty of attention, training and daily exercise once in her forever home.

Kiki Dee is a female boxer and American bulldog mix being cared for at Canine Cupids.

Kiki Dee is a social butterfly, and she loves other dogs, cats and children. She is vaccinated and spayed. She's already house-trained.

Here's what Kiki Dee's friends at Canine Cupids think of her:

Kiki Dee is about four or five years old, and she is smart, goofy and fun-loving. She weighs under 50 pounds, which makes her a nice size – not too big and not too small. She really likes to play catch, wrestle with her furry friends and swim. She would do best in a home with older kids (13+). Since she can get obsessed with toys and occasionally be stubborn or bossy, she may do better with a person who has experience with dogs. Kiki Dee likes more of an active lifestyle: enjoying daily walks, occasional jogs, visits to the dog park or doggie daycare. A fenced-in yard would be a requirement if you're more of a couch potato. At the end of the day, Kiki Dee will be your cuddle buddy. She hasn't met a couch or dog bed that she didn't like. She tore her ACL and had TPLO surgery, and her foster family is helping with her rehab. She is doing well and will be good as new in no time.
