Broome Street Bakery is operated by Eli Zabar, who has several other establishments on the Upper East Side, according to Eater New York. With a 3.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, the new addition is finding its way, but it's still early days.
Mike C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 10, wrote, "The new bakery from the Zabar family just opened, with a wide variety and quantity of baked goods available on the first day. I grabbed a slice of Chocolate Babka, which was very very good, and a Nutella Morning Bun, which was also excellent. I'll be back to try some croissants."
